Im Starting a New Business and I'm Nervous
I keep telling myself I'm going to fail, but if I build publicly then surely with feedback I can only get it right. Right?
I’m building something new.
And I’m nervous.
What if I fail?
But… what if I succeed?
I’ve decided to go out on my own and start building something I’ve been thinking about for a while.
It’s called EngLeadExpert.io - a platform to help you become better leaders.
That means individual contributors trying to step up… or
Tech leads finding their footing… or
New engineering managers thrown into the deep end… or
Even experienced EM’s who never got the training they needed.
For a long time, I built courses in partnership with other platforms. I’m proud of that work and grateful for the experience.
But lately, I’ve felt a strong urge to do something more personal.
To build something fully my own.
Something I can shape from the ground up, with my voice, my values, and no ceiling.
Right now, it’s just a landing page with a big dream.
Some early sketches.
A few course outlines.
A notebook full of scribbled ideas.
And a gut feeling that says: you have to try.
If any of that sounds interesting to you, you can sign up here to follow along.
You’ll get early access to what I’m building and see it all unfold: raw, messy, honest.
More soon,
Ryan Murphy

Good luck! :)
This is exactly how I'm feeling too. Here's to building awesome learning resources for aspiring devs!
